Our Lord Jesus Christ, directly after His baptism, prepared Himself for His public life and mission by a fast of forty days in the desert, which extends from Jericho to the Mountains of Judaea.  Let us prepare ourselves by fast, prayers and works of charity for the solemn Feast of Easter.

Immediately following the 12:10pm Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration until 6:00pm, when there will be the Angelus followed by Benediction.

Join us at St. Rose of Lima, Quincy's historic Irish Catholic Church at 8th & Chestnut, for the traditional St. Patrick's Day fare of corned beef, cabbage, and mashed potatoes, plus dessert and drinks (tea or coffee). 

We will be serving The Butcher Block's homemade corned beef from 11:00am to 7:00pm on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th.
