Public Masses Cancelled in the Springfield Diocese

All Masses in the Diocese of Springfield are cancelled effective immediately. Please read this document from the Bishop for details in addition to the below.

All non-sacramental parish activities are also cancelled. This includes Stations of the Cross.

Confessions will still be heard during the normal times. Keep six-foot distance between penitents and use wet wipes which will be provided to sanitize any area you touch, including the door and ledge in the confessional. Also clean any part of a pew that you touch.

We have asked for clarification from the Diocese regarding Exposition and Benediction. There will definitely not be Exposition on Thursday, March 19th.

St. Rose will be open for people to come pray privately from dawn until dusk. Please use the entrance on the north side (facing the rectory). All other doors will remain locked. Hand sanitation items will be made available.

Anyone who is sick or believes he/she may have come into contact with the virus is to remain at home.
